New Delegate for Sudan Delegation

The Rector Major has appointed Fr Ferrington Poobalarayen as the new Delegate for the Sudan. We offer our heartfelt Congratulations to Fr Ferrington and wish him the Lord’s guidance in shepherding the Delegation. We also thank Fr Jacob Thelekkadan for his dedicated leadership of the Delegation for the past three years. Fr. Ferrignton was the AFE Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry at the time of his appointment. He came away from Tanzania to the Sudan on 1st of July and had a flying visit to all the Salesian communities of the Delegation. He has gone to Rome on 10th July for a short meeting with Rector Major and his council and will be back to the delegation by 24th July. The official installation of the new delegate will be on the occasion of the annual Delegation Assembly at the end of July (30 - 31 July).
